Nestled in a small facility in the West Coat town of Raglan New Zealand there is a hive of activity.
That's us!
Development is our game. Prototype development for larger items such as aerospace mouldings marine and any other larger shape.
We use Rhinoceros as our main drawing tool, and have been since it first became available as a beta release. We machine the patterns for the models we have created in Rhino. The aircraft pictured on the home page was modelled using the power of Rhino. And is currently under prototype machining.
The 3D-Emotion machining sytem offered on this site has been developed around our activities. And here is why;
About 9 years ago, we decided to build a 3D machine for making large patterns.
- We didn't need something that would machine steel and that would weigh hundreds of tons.
- We didn't need something that would do all the complex operations that are needed on a normal cnc machine.
- We did need something that would machine soft materials - say wood, foam and maybe lead and aluminium - and machine it fast.
